New apartments in Kobe are gradually getting bigger. Many newly built mansions for sale for families in the Kobe area are around 70m². It wasn't so long ago since the standard was more like 60m².
Even at 70m², the sizes are still small compared to other rich countries, so we think the average size in Kobe will continue to increase. In cities like Bangkok and Kuala Lumpur, condominiums for middle class families are closer to 120m².
We searched the Kobe market for bigger apartments to see what is available for sale. Here is selection of what is on the market for around 100m², selected for ffeilden with international customers in mind.
