One of our previous newsletters dealt with buy-to-let market in Kobe and Ashiya. This proved to be popular so we will cover it again this month (below.)

Now turning to buy-to-let apartments. In Kobe, thanks to years of falling property prices, there are opportunities in the buy-to-let market. It is not difficult to find older apartments that cost around 10m yen and rent out for say, 100,000 yen a month. This is a fairly impressive gross yield. Try comparing it to yields in other countries.
