Whilst property values have been booming in much of the English-speaking world, Japanese property values have continued to fall. After a decade of falls, values are now at levels not seen since the early 1980’s.

Compared to Tokyo, where some prime land appears to have hit bottom (at least for now), values in Kansai continue to fall.

Despite Japan ’s reputation as being extremely expensive, there are now very interesting investments to be found, and regardless of the atmosphere of doom and gloom some companies are buying property at rock bottom prices and turning them round.
